Wintermelon Latte w/ Grass Jelly - 30% Sugar

Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte, Matcha Brown Sugar Latte, and Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte - Regular Sugar

YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea has become one of my new favorite boba spots in the city. It has brought traditional boba teas, brown sugar boba teas, their signature fruit teas, and more. I like that their drinks have many flavor variations and allow them to shine rather than the sugar. You taste the quality of the ingredients.

My go-to boba teas are the Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte, YiFang Fruit Tea, Pineapple Green Tea, Salted Cream Mountain Tea, and Fresh Taro Latte.

The Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte is a black milk tea with boba in a brown sugar boba syrup. The brown sugar boba has an intense sweet molasses flavor that balances well with the chewy boba pearls, and the cups are filled a good third of the way with it. The tea has an intense black tea flavor that balances well with the cream. I also want to point out that YiFang bobaristas don't shake the drink for you. I love this because then you get the chance to shake it and watch the syrup and tea blend. I recommend getting this drink at a 30-50% or light sweetness/sugar.

The YiFang Fruit Tea consists of pineapple chunks, passion fruit pulp, apple slices, and orange slices in a jade tea. This drink caught me off guard, and I underestimated it, thinking it would be a simple dull fruit tea. The fruits blended into a complex harmony with both texture and flavor. I recommend getting the sago, pearls, aiyu jelly, and grass jelly and getting 30-50% sweetness or light sweetness/sugar.

The Pineapple Green Tea is a fruit tea that has a green tea base and pineapple chunks. This drink is very refreshing. The green tea helps balance the sweetness of the pineapple. I recommend getting sago, pearls, aiyu jelly, and grass jelly and getting 30-50% or light sweetness/sugar.

The Salted Cream Mountain Tea is a simple yet outstanding tea that is a mountain tea, aromatic Songboling jade tea, topped with a thick cream with salt. The thick Salted Cream compliments the tea base perfectly. You cannot go wrong with a drink like this. I recommend getting boba pearls with this drink and getting 30-50% sweetness or light sweetness/sugar.

The Fresh Taro Latte is milk and cream-based drink with mashed taro. I love taro and any taro things, so I was happy to see this on the menu and the boba chain using fresh taro. YiFang includes chunks of taro in it, which adds another layer of texture. I recommend getting boba pearls, sago, or grass jelly with this drink and getting 30-50% sweetness or light sweetness/sugar.

YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea has drinks that range vastly but stick close to boba's Taiwanese roots. The drinks on the menu are sure to be delicious.
