Vons Chicken is a Korean restaurant that specializes in fried chicken and oven chicken. Their chicken is not only delicious but also unique. My family and I love to get their combo chicken, which is wings and drumsticks.

My favorite dishes on the menu are their Crispy Fried Chicken, Crispy Fried w/ Honey Butter, Crispy "Yangnyum" Chicken, Crispy Padak Chicken, and Rice Cake.

The Crispy Fried Chicken is fried chicken with a light crispy batter glazed with a garlic soy glaze. The batter is sweet, salty, and full of garlic flavor, and the chicken is juicy. It is one of the best dishes on their menu.

The Crispy Fried w/ Honey Butter is their Crispy Fried Chicken with a sweet & salty dry coating of the seasoning. The inspiration is from the famous Korean Honey Butter Chips and is very addicting. You get a kick of the honey butter, but it's only strong enough to flavor the chicken and not overpower it.

The Crispy "Yangnyum" Chicken is their Crispy Fried Chicken coated in a spicy sauce made of gochujang, a Korean red pepper paste. It has a slow heat that pairs perfectly with the juicy chicken and is worth the mess. I suggest you eat this one as soon as possible since the fried batter gets soggy. Korean spicy is on an elevated level compared to American spicy. I recommend getting it Mild if you want it spicy like a jalapeno and getting it Spicy if you like it spicy like a ghost pepper.

The Crispy Padak Chicken is their Crispy Fried Chicken topped with shredded greens in a sauce that tastes sweet and like horseradish. Everything in this dish is perfect. The kick of spice from the horseradish is similar to wasabi. I suggest you eat this one as soon as possible or ask for the shredded greens on the side if you are not eating it immediately as the fried batter gets soggy.

The Rice Cake is fried sliced rice cakes coated in a spicy & tangy gochujang sauce. The Rice Cakes are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, which melds perfectly with the sauce. It is similar to tteokbokki, a Korean dish of boiled rice cakes in a gochujang sauce. I recommend getting it Mild if you want it spicy like a jalapeno and getting it Spicy if you like it spicy like a ghost pepper.

Vons Chicken never disappoints with their chicken. You can expect to be satisfied with one or all of their chicken dishes.
