Bota Tapas & Paella Bar

490 Geary St, San Francisco, CA 94102

Bacon Wrapped Dates

Patatas Bravas

Squid Ink Paella - Large

Bota Tapas & Paella Bar is my favorite Spanish restaurant in San Francisco. The dishes are polished and delicious.

The dishes I like most are their Bacon Wrapped Dates, Patatas Bravas, and Squid Ink Paella.

The Bacon Wrapped Dates are one of the many tapas available on their Lunch & Dinner menus. Dates wrapped in bacon with Machengo cheese and sherry truffle honey. It cleverly blends sweet & salty together.

Patatas Bravas is another one of their tapas and is very decadent, and consists of fried potatoes in a spicy aioli. It is like French fries fancier cousin.

The Squid Ink Paella is something that is truly one of a kind. It has squid, rice, squid ink, saffron, and aioli. It is one of the more comforting dishes on the menu.

Both Tapas & Paella Bar stays close to the roots but adds its unique touches as well. It has by far the best Spanish food I have ever had.
