Valentines Special w/ Whipped Cream & Regular Crepe

I've been coming to Belly Good Cafe & Crepes since I was in elementary school. It is one of the best spots to get a sweet & cute crepe. The cafe is always coming up with new ideas and designs for their crepes, which are super soft.

My favorite crepes on their menu are their Number 2 and Number 9. Below is also one of their seasonal flavors.

Number 2 is a kuromitsu, a type of Japanese syrup; red bean paste, and strawberry crepe topped with green tea ice cream. The flavors of this crepe are perfectly balanced. The matcha is not too bitter, and the strawberries are refreshing. The kuromitsu and red bean paste provide texture and sweetness. I recommend getting the crepe wrapped and, with whipped cream, an original or matcha crepe will taste good.

Number 9 is an orange and orange marmalade crepe topped with mango ice cream. It is one of the simpler crepes on the menu, but it packs a sweet flavor. The textural elements of the oranges and orange marmalade make a tropical blend with the mango ice cream. I recommend getting the crepe wrapped, with whipped cream, and in an original crepe.

The Valentines Special is an Oreo and strawberry crepe topped with chocolate and strawberry ice cream. The crepe is sweet and comforting with the addition of Oreos. The chocolate ice cream provides a bitter flavor. One of the perks is that you get two scoops of ice cream! I recommend getting the crepe wrapped, with whipped cream, and in an original crepe.

Belly Good Cafe & Crepes make cute, sweet, and delicious crepes fresh to every order in the West mall of Japantown. There is no other cafe like this one in San Francisco.
